Greetings of the Spring Season! Here are some of the highlights of various meetings at the UN.

April 7 : World Health Day: The World Health Organization is marking this year’s World Health Day with efforts to reduce the stigma of depression and create awareness of the need for prevention and treatment. More than 300 million people around the world suffer from depression, which affects “people of all ages, from all walks of life, in all countries.” WHO has come out with a training tool on mental health:http://who.int/mental_health/policy/quality_rights/guidance_training_tools/en/

Human Development Index 2016: The UN Development Program (UNDP) has just released its Human Development Report 2016, “Human Development for Everyone”. Highlights are :                                                     (http://bit.ly/enable_hdr2016)
